David Leonardo Hugh of Collingdale passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 60.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Errie (Mills) and Robert Hugh, Sr.

David completed his high school education at West Philadelphia High in 1982. David worked at Bartram High School early on as a School Maintenance Coordinator and later took a position at Septa as an Equipment engineer until major surgery and subsequent health challenges forced him onto disability. David enjoyed his Church family at the Holy Ghost Jesus House of Prayer, tinkering with old cars and cooking his own meals.

He is survived by his siblings, Robert Hugh, Jr., Beverly Robb, Toni Hugh, Cynthia Butler, and Nolan Hugh.

The family will pay tribute to and honor David's earthly journey,  share poignant memories of him, Privately and forgo public ceremony. David's final remains have been entrusted to The Oliver H. Rest well my dear brother as you join Mommy and Daddy in the Majesty of our Lord and Savior! Until we meet again!
