Chester Roy Ruby, 77, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at his home in the Spring Mill Presbyterian Village in Lafayette Hill, Montgomery County, PA.

Born in Philadelphia on October 28, 1930, he was the loving husband of Janet (Greenway) Ruby and the son of the late Chester and Mary (Thompson) Ruby. Mr. Ruby was a manager in the automobile industry throughout his working career.

Besides his wife, Mr. Ruby is also survived by his son, Steven R. Ruby of Broomall and his daughter E. Susan Koma (David) of Havertown. He was also the proud and loving Pop-Pop of Phillip & Brian Ruby and Lindsey & Renee Koma. He was predeceased by his sisters Catherine Hedrick and Marie Ruby.

Mr. Ruby was a graduate of Stephen Girard College of Philadelphia, class of 1947. Funeral services and interment are private.
