Mrs. Streeper was an accountant for the Linton restaurant chain for many years until her retirement. She loved and doted on her family, enjoyed gardening, and watching game shows and figure skating.

Survivors: son Edward C., Jr. ('Chick') and his wife Eloise, sister Elizabeth Detweiler of Delaware, brother John and wife Dolores Gibbs of New Jersey, sister-in-law Dorothy Gibbs of Glenolden, many nieces and nephews, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 732 11th Ave., Prospect Park, PA 19076, on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. James Episcopal Church, "Discretionary Fund", (address above) or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2 Industrial Plaza, Suite 245, Phila., PA 19113 The family would like to thank the Taylor Hospital staff for all of the care and kindness that they provided.
