Catherine Jackson, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 16, 2026. She was 74 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Catherine was the daughter of the late Nancy Ann (Brown) and Silas Jackson. She graduated from Dobbins High School in 1970 and enlisted in the United States Air Force two years later. She served her country and received an honorable discharge.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Catherine S. "Candy" Jackson and her eight cherished grandchildren, whom she cared for and loved deeply. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Catherine valued those relationships and made a point of staying in touch, keeping the bonds of family strong through the years.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Jackson and Sarah Jean Jackson, and her brothers, Joseph Jackson and Rosevelt Jackson.

Catherine’s memory will live on through the love she shared, the care she gave, and the lasting connections she nurtured with those closest to her.
