Carolyn Martell Fantini, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Center City, Philadelphia. She was 92 years old. Born in Pennsgrove, NJ, Mrs. Fantini was the daughter of the late Carmine and Clementine (Santesanio) Martell. She was also the loving wife of the late Clifford A. Fantini, Sr. who passed away in 1984. They were married on November 29, 1944. Mrs. Fantini was a retired teacher's aide in the Pennsauken School District in New Jersey. She is survived by her son Cliff Martell Fantini of Philadelphia, her sister Theresa Massari of Mt. Laurel, NJ, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her son Louis C. Fantini, her sister Genevieve and her three brothers August, Louis and Joseph Martell. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Fantini's life will be held at 6 o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Saint Mark's Church, 1625 Locust Street, Philadelphia.
