Born in Kilmovee, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Horan and Kate (Duffy) Horan.

Mrs. Insall is survived by her loving husband Gerard F. Insall of 51 years. She is also survived by three daughters Patricia C. Insall of Horsham, Meghan M. Insall of University City, Kathleen A. (Mike) Schwartz of Manayunk, one son Gerard F. (KimMarie) of Huntington, NY, four grandchildren Steven Insall, Sydney Insall, Ryan Insall, Bonnie Schwartz, one brother Stephen Horan of Stockport, England, one sister Kathleen Harkin of Kilmovee, Ireland and one cousin Ellen Carr of Glenside.

A funeral Mass celebrating Mrs. Insall's life will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 12:30pm at Holy Innocents RC Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Ave., Philadelphia. A viewing will precede Mass at the church from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
