Anthony (Tony) Rogers, of Philadelphia passed away on June 22, 2026 at the age of 67 Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of George Rogers and Rose Marie Bunch. 

Anthony would introduce himself as Tony, some people called him Word. Anthony was educated in the Philadelphia system where he completed his high school Diploma. Anthony loved to draw and has many certificates for his artwork. He loved music, writing and poetry. 

While Anthony didn’t have any children of his own. His sisters Darleane and Elaine were very supportive of him and all he desired to do. He loved and cared for his nieces and nephew and his great nieces and nephews. His family meant the world to him! 

He leaves behind a sister, Elaine Rogers; nieces Lisa and Layonna Green; nephew Wayne Young; great nephews Rushon, Nacir, and Kevin; great nieces Lauriel and Nasiyah; one great great niece Braylee. He was predeceased by his mother Rose Marie Bunch father George Rogers Jr. sister and Darleane Rogers Smedley.
