Anthony H. Carr of Kirklyn, Upper Darby passed away at Lankenau Medical Center on February 27, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Bryn Mawr, he was the beloved son of Nora (nee Boyce) Carr and the late Anthony "Tony" Carr.

Anthony was a 1989 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and attended Delaware County Community College before beginning his career as a machinist.

In addition to his mother, Anthony is survived by his sister, Siobhan Griffin (Frank Hughes); brother, Sean Carr (Karen); nephews, Anthony Griffin (Gail), Sean (Rachel), Patrick (Alyssa), and Brendan Carr; two great nephews and three great nieces; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, James Carr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anthony's Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.  A visitation with the family will precede Mass from 9:30am to 10:45am in church.  Interment will be private in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a contribution to St. Laurence Church.
