Amir Clyde Starnes of Darby passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2022.  Born on January 6, 2022, he was the dearly beloved son of Aaron and Kaitlyn Starnes.

Amir was a beautiful, happy, and healthy boy who had a big smile and the most heartwarming little laugh a baby could have. We were so happy he was born with a head full of hair and it was just starting to curl up. His eyes were always so bright and sparkling. Kaitlyn and Aaron loved to sit and look into his eyes. Kaitlyn even wrote Amir a song about how looking in his eyes made her feel. He recently discovered his feet and they were becoming his new favorite toy.  Amir loved playing with his brothers as it was always the highlight of his day. He could roll over by himself and loved to sit up and see what was going on around him. He was always so curious about everything. He would adorably stomp his right foot over and over again whenever you stood him up. He loved to cuddle with his stuffed animals and blankets but especially with his mommy and daddy. Amir would try so hard to talk to his daddy everyday when he got home from work. Daddy was also his nap buddy.

Amir had a very calm spirit and enjoyed when everyone around him was also calm. He was a blessing to his family and everyone who knew him. Aaron and Kaitlyn had many dreams for Amir, but more than anything, they wanted to raise him into a respectful, joyful, and Godly man.

In addition to his parents, Amir is survived by his two brothers, Cameron and Jaesin DiEmedio.
