Allen D. Barr, of Glenolden, passed away at Taylor Hospice on February 8, 2013. He was 75 years old. Born in Gladwyne, he was the son of the late Allen A. and Margaret (Kelly) Barr. Allen worked as an exterminator and served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his daughter Wanda Sue(Barr)Merkel of Gilbertsville, and one granddaughter Adele Rieley Merkel. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
