Alice Elizabeth Patterson Ziegler, of Devon, passed away peacefully at Devon Senior Living on June 27, 2019.  She was 96 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Henry Herman and Alice (Trudel) Wentz.

Mrs. Ziegler worked as an executive secretary. She loved reading, jitterbugging, crossword puzzles, traveling and being with her grandchildren at the Jersey shore.

She is survived by her sons Stephen Patterson of Carmel, Indiana and Andrew T. Patterson of Marco Island, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Patterson, Cassie Philips, Barry Patterson, Ginger Veces, Katherine Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson and Emily Large as well as 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will take place on August 10th at 12 Noon at the Baptist Church in the Great Valley, 945 North Valley Forge Rd Devon, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to military charities: Fisher House Foundation or Gary Senise Foundation.
