Ako Djibril Dumisani, of Coatesville and formerly of Phoenix, Arizona and Upper Darby, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 14, 2019.  He was 29 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of David Johnson and Gloria J. Holmes Johnson Frazier.

Djibril was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and received his associate's degree from Mesa College.  He also attended the University of Pittsburgh. In his earlier years, he played the saxophone and enjoyed soccer, gymnastics and baseball. He especially had a special love for track and field in high school and college. He was not afraid to dream and work toward his goals. He was talented as a videographer specializing in educational children's videos and comedic routines. He also had several business start-ups.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to grieve for him, his two children, Kayden R. Dumisani and Jbré Dumisani; stepfather, Maurice Frazier; grandfather by adoption, Arthur James; brother, Massa Dumisani; stepsisters, Thurayaa Yusha, Sherice Sergeant, and Cawanda Frazier; stepbrothers, Fallah Yushua, Domonic Weatherbee, Maurice Frazier, Jr, and Matthew Frazier; aunts, Patricia Esther Johnson, Dawn Rebecca Johnson, Catherine Burney, Mary Louise Haynes (Larry) and Sylvia Jennings; and uncles, Randolph Foster Lee Johnson; MackArthur, Matthew, Douglas, Dennis (Terry), Albert and Ricardo (Veronica) James.  He is pr eceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Lillian Johnson and Lewis and Wilhelmina Holmes, and his loving grandmother by adoption, MaryJane James.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at the Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.  A funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
